If you follow me on Instagram and watch my Instagram stories (@bukola.veronica), you’ll know that I recently got the opportunity to have a Previse facial in Harvey Nichols. This was a promotional event following the launch of Previse Skincare (@previseskincare) into Harvey Nichols and their expansion to the UK and Ireland. All products used during the facial were from Previse Skincare and since I enjoyed my experience so much, I thought that I should write a little post about it.

Firstly, let me just quickly talk about the brand and their products. Previse Skincare is a personalised plant-based skincare brand whose mission is to keep the skin healthy and resilient. All Previse products are made from sustainably sourced and vegan ingredients that help to refresh, rejuvenate and protect the skin. The products have been developed alongside dermatologists who are specialists in holistic skin care. The overall message of this brand is that we shouldn’t have to choose between healthy skin and a healthy planet (and who doesn’t want that!)

Now, let’s get to the actual facial experience! This was the very first facial I’ve ever gotten in my life and following the wonderful experience I had, I will definitely be going back for more.

The lovely lady who gave me my facial was the gorgeous Sarah from Advanced Beauty (@sarah_advancedbeauty)  who has over 10 years’ experience in the beauty industry.  I honestly couldn’t say enough positive things about her! Being my first facial experience, I was quite apprehensive about the whole thing but Sarah made me very comfortable and made sure I was okay throughout the whole process.  If you live in and around Kent & Essex in the UK, make sure to check her out! I couldn’t recommend her enough.

As I’ve mentioned, all the products used were from Previse Skincare. I’ve never heard of the brand previously but following my initial experience with the brand, I’ll definitely be willing add some of their products to my skincare regime. Following the facial, my skin was left feeling amazingly soft and moisturised! The dullness of my skin was also eradicated leaving my skin bright and glowy. Considering I had amazing results after the first initial use of the products, I would definitely invest in them to see what they can do if I use them on a more regular and long-term basis.

Will I be investing in these products? Yes! Definitely and I honestly can’t wait. The one product in particular that I definitely want to try is the Ozone Defence Serum. It is an oil-free (yay), vitamin enriched serum that binds moisture to the skin while also locking out airborne pollutants that can harm the skin. This serum contains vitamin B5, hyaluronic acid, as well as vitamin B3 and vitamin C, all skin-loving ingredients that bind moisture to the skin and help fight against oxidative damage. The serum also contains extracts of artichoke and green tea which helps fight ageing and oxidisation. This all sounds absolutely fantastic to me and I can’t wait to try it out!
