I’m back from Paris! Well, I have been back for a while but if you didn’t know (despite my constant Paris spam on Instagram). I went with a couple of friends of mine and we stayed there for 5 days. This was my first time in beautiful Paris. I was very excited to explore the city, eat some good food and simply experience Parisian life (albeit for less than a week). So, in the first of a series of blog posts titled ‘Paris Diaries’, I decided to share with you guys what I wore in Paris.
When I decide that I’m going somewhere, I often plan my outfits by the amount of days I’m spending on holiday. So, if I’m going somewhere for 5 days, I’ll bring 6 outfits (one extra just in case). This is exactly what I did for this Paris trip and I’m excited to show you what I wore in Paris.
Outfit One
The first outfit I wore in Paris was this corduroy mini-skirt* and snakeskin shirt* combo from iClothing. If you’ve ever read any of my past style posts or follow me on Instagram, you would know that one of my favourite go-to outfits is a miniskirt paired with a shirt and some boots! I love how this outfit came together and paired with my new favourite red boots* (also from iClothing), I’m quite glad with how this outfit came together.
Outfit Two
My next outfit in Paris was quite different from my first. It was a more casual look when compared to my first outfit. I paired a very oversized earth-toned shirt (that I borrowed from my friend), with some cargo trousers from I SAW IT FIRST. I really like the vibes of this outfit and paired with my chunky trainers from Top Shop, it was the perfect comfy chic outfit I needed for a day of strolling through the streets of Paris.

Outfit Three
For my next outfit, I wanted to emulate Parisian fashion (at least what I believe Parisian fashion is). This is why I paired another miniskirt* from iClothing with a gorgeous rust coloured satin shirt from I SAW IT FIRST. Matched with some red accents, my trusty boots and a beret, I believe that I served some Parisian-inspired look (well, I think I did). It was raining very heavily this day and quite chilly, which is why I also added some black tights to this outfit and I think that it was a well-suited addition.
You can actually see another way that I’ve styled this skirt in one of my past blogposts. Make sure to check it out here!
Outfit Four
Day 4 of my Parisian trip consisted of me wearing this gorgeous plaid jumpsuit from Nasty Gal. Personally, I love a good jumpsuit. I love the head-to-toe statement that they make and the fact that they create a bold, striking look all in the one garment makes them a bonus. Like I said, I’m especially loving this plaid jumpsuit from Nasty Gal. Apart from animal print, which is probably the most popular trend at the time, I think plaid is also on the rise since I’ve been seeing it in most stores recently.
I matched my plaid jumpsuit with some mustard trainers from Stradivarius for another striking yet comfortable look.

Outfit Five
For my last outfit in Paris, I knew that I had to go out with a bang. And what better way can I do than with some leopard print. I don’t know if you’ve noticed but animal print, especially leopard print, has taken the fashion world by storm and I finally fell in love with the trend thanks to this leopard print midi wrap dress* from iClothing. It was the perfect length for me and quite lightweight too. I paired this dress with another trend currently taking over the fashion world, my chunky dad trainers to create an on-trend yet classic look.
And that’s it. My mini lookbook of the outfits I wore in Paris. I’m quite happy with how all these outfits turned out and I would love to know which outfit was your favourite. Let me know in the comments below.
Yours,
Bukola Veronica
